New rankings for Michelmores in Legal 500 listings

Michelmores is celebrating its latest Legal 500 results, with 29 team and 37 individual rankings for 2022. This year’s results see five new individual rankings, three new team rankings and one team moving up a tier.

Partners Tom Torkar, Harry Trick, Jayne Clemens, Alice Daniels and Lucy Smallwood each received a new individual ranking in the following sectors/categories:

Tom Torkar -Leading Individual in IT & Telecoms: South West
Harry Trick – Next Generation Partner in Emerging Markets
Jayne Clemens – Next Generation Partner in Commercial Litigation: Dorset, Devon and Cornwall
Alice Daniels – Next Generation Partner in Commercial Litigation: Dorset, Devon and Cornwall
Lucy Smallwood – Leading Individual in Commercial Property: South West

The Agriculture and Estates, Environment and Court of Protection teams have each been recognised with a new ranking:

Agriculture and Estates has received a new ranking and is listed in the tier 3, London category.
The Environment team in the South West has been listed in the ‘firm to watch’ category.
The Commercial Litigation team has moved up one tier to 5 in the mid-market London category and received the following feedback:

A regional firm that can go head-to-head with the biggest City commercial disputes teams.

Very talented litigators, with the ability to grasp the essence of issues as they arise.

As well as two new individual rankings, the Commercial Litigation team: Dorset, Devon and Cornwall has been tier 1 ranked for some years. The Legal 500 listing states that the team:

Of the overall successes, Michelmores’ Senior Partner, Richard Cobb said:

The Firm’s Agriculture & Estates team (South West) is among those achieving tier 1 status and ranking the London market for the first time. Legal 500 said:
