The winners of the 15th annual Michelmores Property Awards have been revealed, celebrating outstanding property and construction projects in Devon, Somerset, Bristol, Dorset and Cornwall, across ten categories.
Phase 1 of Wapping Wharf in Bristol, a project submitted by submitted by Alec French Architects, has seen the transformation of derelict land to the south of Bristol’s historic Floating Harbour into a new, community-focused leisure and residential quarter. This phase consists of 194 residential units, including 26 affordable units and approximately 900 square metres of retail and leisure space. Wapping Wharf also incorporates Gaol Ferry Steps, a new pedestrianised, tree-lined route which runs through the heart of the neighbourhood to connect South Bristol and the City Centre.
The winners were announced at an Awards Dinner on Thursday 15 June at the University of Exeter, hosted by comedian and actor Marcus Brigstocke.
