On 1 January 2014 new thresholds for application of the EU public procurement rules came into effect.
Where a contract for works, supply or services to be awarded has a value above these thresholds, contracting authorities must follow a regulated procurement procedure in accordance with the Public Procurement Regulations 2006 (as amended).
The new thresholds are as follows:
Revised thresholds (NET OF VAT) |
|
Supply and services contracts (Schedule 1 Bodies) | £111,676 |
Supply and services contracts (other contracting authorities) | £172,514 |
Works contracts | £4,322,012 |
