Solicitor – Admitted 2013
Overview
I’m a Senior Associate in Michelmores’ Corporate team.
I was admitted as a Solicitor in 2013 and worked in London for five years before moving to an in-house role as Legal Counsel at an international NGO. Following a move back to my roots in Devon in 2020, I joined Michelmores in early 2022.
My experience working in house means that I am particularly skilled at problem solving, with a focus on being responsive, supportive and commercial.
Working with clients who cover the whole range, from individuals, partners and small companies to large international groups, I can assist in advising on all matters from the initial incorporation of companies and shareholders’ agreements for start ups, to cross-jurisdictional acquisitions, AIM admissions and main market listings and general public company work. I act for both seller and purchaser, and for other key parties involved in transactions, such as nomads as well. Clients I advise work in a wide variety of sectors, but I have a particular interest in advising clients within the charity, sustainability and impact investment areas, and am a keen member of the firms’ Pro Bono Charity Partnership and Sustainable Economy groups.
I am a trustee of the UNESCO Exeter City of Literature. This is a charity that is particularly established to champion stories and storytellers, both locally and globally, working with community and with the network of UNESCO Cities of Literature around the world.
When I’m not working, I really enjoy being back in the South West and exploring the beautiful beaches we have here. My main hobby is scuba diving and I recently wrote two children’s books.
