Overview

I am a Solicitor in the Banking, Restructuring & Insolvency team based in the firm’s London office.

I qualified as a Solicitor and joined the firm in September 2024, having trained at a leading national law firm.

I assist and advise on a wide range of non-contentious restructuring and special situations mandates, as well as a variety of contentious insolvency matters, including:

• distressed and insolvent M&A, including accelerated M&A transactions and pre-pack/administration business and asset sales (buy side and sell side);
• advising directors and creditors of companies in financial distress, including directors’ duties advice and advising creditors on enforcement and recovery options; and
• advising administrators and liquidators on a range of pre- and post- appointment issues.

I advise insolvency practitioners, lenders, corporate entities, directors, creditors and other stakeholders.

Recent experience

Acting for the proposed administrators of a women’s knitwear and lifestyle clothing brand operating nationally in respect of a pre-pack sale of the company’s business and assets

Acting for the proposed administrators of a commercial wastewater management, pollution control and water remediation company based in the North West in respect of a pre-pack sale of the company’s business and assets

Acting for the proposed administrators of a law firm in the South East in respect of a pre-pack sale of the company’s business and assets

The provision of contingency planning advice to a fund in respect of an underperforming and substantially leveraged portfolio company (including advice on potential solvent and insolvent restructuring options)

Acting for the joint liquidators of a group of UK entities to bring claims against multiple directors (including de facto and shadow directors) for, amongst other things, misfeasance, transactions at an undervalue and fraudulent trading
