I am a Partner in Michelmores’ Transactional Real Estate team.
I qualified as a Real Estate lawyer in 2006. I have extensive experience within both the commercial and residential property sectors, with a particular emphasis on residential development and regeneration transactions as I am passionate about development.
I advise on a breadth of transactions ranging from small residential development sites to major strategic land acquisition and promotion and assist clients, including landowners, promoters, developers, social housing providers and local authorities, through the life cycle of a development by providing strategic development advice and support and guidance on site assembly, planning, acquisition, funding, the development phase including planning and infrastructure agreements and disposal.
I enjoy working alongside colleagues who provide environmental law, construction, planning, litigation and property tax advice, when and where required, to ensure as a firm we can deliver the right commercial solution for our clients.
Proactive communication and collaboration are fundamental to delivering development projects and I work closely with my clients to understand their aspirations and objectives and endeavour to deliver tailored innovative and commercial legal solutions.
Housing is a basic and fundamental requirement, and I am committed to embracing innovative ideas and systematic change to ensure that we can transform the housing system and create lasting solutions that serve our communities, the planet and the economy.
My journey as a Real Estate lawyer started with Michelmores back in 2006 and I am delighted to be returning as a Partner to the Transactional Real Estate team and to be provided with an opportunity to assist both colleagues and clients navigate change and to work alongside collaborative, creative and commercial people to deliver much needed future developments.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends and road cycling.
