Solicitor – Admitted 2016
Overview
I am a Partner in the Tax, Trusts & Succession team in Bristol. I advise on a wide range of private client matters including Wills, trusts, lifetime planning and estate administration. I also have experience of advising charities on charity creation, registration and governance. My clients include business owners, farming families and more increasingly those with assets overseas.
I particularly enjoy helping families to plan ahead to ensure they have taken appropriate steps to protect and manage their estates as tax efficiently as possible. Acting for different generations of the same family is highly rewarding and a real privilege.
I am a full member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners.
I obtained a first class degree in Law with French at Aberystwyth University and spent a year in Lyon as part of my course. I stayed in Aberystwyth to complete my LLP LPC gaining a distinction.
Having trained with a Top 70 national law firm, I qualified in 2016. I was very pleased to be named the Worcestershire Law Society’s Junior Solicitor of the Year in 2018. I joined Michelmores in March 2022.
Outside work, I volunteer as a trustee of a charity which provides community-based support to people who are facing significant challenges.
Born and raised in Wales, I am a fluent Welsh speaker.
