I have 30 years’ experience of leading and managing IT within the legal sector.
I began my career as a member of a technical support team providing IT services to the insurance and banking sectors and quickly progressed into IT Management.
I joined Michelmores in 2014 having led and managed the IT function for a top 20 law firm with over 100 staff and a budget in excess of £10M for many years.
I have overall responsibility for all areas of IT including strategy, operations, service delivery, training, and knowledge management.
As a member of Michelmores’ Management Board, I have opportunity to help improve the day-to-day operation of the Firm as well as shaping its future direction.
Working with talented IT and knowledge management teams, I strive to deliver a high standard service to our internal and external clients.
The ‘Cloud First’ strategy and use of agile technology including unified communications, enabled a seamless transition to large scale remote working during the pandemic, and a ‘new normal’ way of hybrid working.
Information security and strong governance is a key component of IT these days and as such the certification of kitemark standards such as ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus demonstrate my commitment to a program of evolution and continuous improvement.
