Jo Bartlett

Overview

I am a Chartered Legal Executive in the Transactional Real Estate team, specialising in residential development.

I have experience acting for small and medium developers, plc housebuilders, landowners and promoters.

I have worked on a wide range of development matters from the first stages of development such as option and promotion agreements through to site acquisition, obtaining development finance, easements and statutory infrastructure agreements, site set up for open market plot sales, affordable housing disposals and site exits.  My range of experience permits me to consider every stage of the development process throughout my work.

I qualified as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives in 2022.  I joined Michelmores in 2024 having previously worked at a national law firm in the South West for just over a decade.

Outside the office, I enjoy travel and the arts.
