After studying at Bournemouth University and Bristol Law School, I secured a training contract at a traditional southwest regional firm. During my training contract I was awarded the Cook’s and Hatchard’s Law Prize from the Devon and Somerset Law Society in 2016. This prize is awarded to a trainee who demonstrates merit throughout their training.
During my first few years of qualification I also undertook my STEP local diploma in the Administration of Estates.
After a move to a large regional law firm, I gained further experience in more complex work and dipped my toes into trust work.
I was drawn to the Michelmores’ Private Wealth team as they are seen as experts in their field in advising high net worth clients with complex estates. I was lucky enough to be offered an associate position within the team in early 2020.
During my time at Michelmores I have cultivated my experience with a focus on domestic trusts, lifetime planning and an element of international client. I have also undertaken an Advanced Certificate with STEP in UK Tax for International Clients.
I thrive on developing longstanding relationships with my clients and for me to be a first point of contact if they have any problems or queries.
