I am an Associate in the Tax, Trusts and Succession team. Working on a broad range of estate and succession planning, I enjoy building relationships with clients to provide pragmatic advice.
Prior to Michelmores, I practised at City firms with a focus on advising entrepreneurs, landed estates and rural business owners on taxation, trust and succession matters.
As a member of the Landed Estates and Natural Capital teams, I work closely with many other lawyers at Michelmores given the breadth of advice clients require in these areas.
I am passionate about the countryside and feel fortunate to advise individuals, businesses, and trustees as stewards of the unique land they hold.
Advising a well-known UK landed estate which includes a large farming operation, stud farm, residential property, development land and National Trust property. As part of that advice, I was the main point of contact in relation to £12 million of borrowing obtained to allow the estate to progress development opportunities. This required regular correspondence with the lender and their solicitor, the Estate Manager and oversight of the property work involved
Being a key member of the advisory team to one of the most significant landed estates in the country which owns extensive rural and urban property
