Solicitor – Admitted 2019
Overview
I am a Private Client Solicitor in the Tax, Trusts and Succession team, part of Michelmores’ Private Wealth team and I am based in our London office at 100 Liverpool St.
I provide tax advice and estate planning to UK and non-UK domiciled clients who are often high net worth or ultra-high net worth individuals, families and businesses.
For clients coming to the UK, I also help them with immigration advice, pre-arrival tax planning and navigation to the UK tax system as part of their long-term relocation strategies.
I have a particular interest in the Far East jurisdictions and act for clients who own estates in mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore and Malaysia.
I was trained as an Economist and worked for large corporate clients before becoming a lawyer. This background equips me to see and solve problems from both legal and commercial perspectives.
I joined Michelmores in June 2023 from a city law firm where I trained and qualified in December 2019.
I am a member of the Society of Trusts and Estates Practitioners.
I speak Mandarin, Shanghainese and have a basic command of Cantonese. My language skills and cultural understanding enable me to help Chinese speaking clients with nothing lost in translation.
I have been a committee member of the UK Society of Chinese Lawyers and responsible for providing weekly pro-bono services to the Chinese Community Centre since 2019.
Outside of work, I am a nature lover, theatre goer and music enthusiast.
