I am a Solicitor in the Employment team having joined the firm in November 2020 as a Trainee.

I advise a wide range of private and public sector clients (including high net-worth individuals, businesses and Academy and NHS Trusts) on both contentious and non-contentious matters.

This most frequently involves acting as part of our clients’ HR teams to assist with ad-hoc queries, advising on ways to help our clients avoid Employment Tribunal litigation, and (where it is not avoidable) providing commercial advice to help our clients to navigate complex litigation (including in relation to claims of discrimination, whistleblowing detriment, unfair dismissal or unlawful deductions from wages).

I also regularly work closely with colleagues in the Corporate team to provide advice on the employment aspects of corporate transactions.

I am a member of the Michelmores Charity Partnership Group and a keen contributor to the team’s ’employment:today’ newsletter.

Outside of work I have an interest in antique jewellery and enjoy walking.
