I am a Senior Paralegal in Michelmores South West Real Estate team having joined the Firm in 2013. I am also a Cilex Member, working towards becoming a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer, specialising in residential development work.
I predominantly assist with work for a wide range of house builders, from regional to smaller sized developers. The work I am generally involved with consists of site assembly for open market plot sales disposals and affordable housing disposals, dealing with management agreements with agents, and site exits once developers have completed their sites. The developments range from large mix-used sites to smaller unique sites. In addition, I assist in commercial landlord and tenant matters and have experience acting for both private and commercial clients.
Assisting with the assembly of a development and ongoing sales of a 60-residence development within a 14-acre site overlooking the Silverstone racing track between Maggots and Becketts corner. The luxury development includes on-site facilities including a clubhouse for the use of owners and guests and owners share in the revenue generated from letting out the residences on a short term basis
Assisting with the site set up and sale of a city estate comprising of townhouses and apartments with a focus on sustainability including provisions within the leases which enabled the landlord/management company to monitor energy consumption and take steps to reduce energy use and other adverse environmental impacts
Assisting with a multi-phased Duchy development of over 4,000 residential units involving three separate developers as well as communal infrastructure arrangements
Completing multiple grants of commercial leases of individual units on short-term tenancies on behalf of a Trust
