I’m an Associate in the Commercial & Regulatory Disputes team based in the London office. I qualified in September 2018 and advise on a wide range of commercial disputes, including breach of contract claims, insolvency related work, claims against former Trustees/Directors and shareholder related litigation.
I have a particular interest in litigation with a connection to emerging markets and have acted for clients operating in Francophone Africa, Central America and India.
Outside of work I am a keen athlete and compete in the ötillö swimrun world series. In June 2022 I came 20th in the ötillö race in the Isles of Scilly (see here) and have competed in Germany and Croatia. I also helped set-up the Michelmores Cycling Network in London.
Advising in connection with a dispute arising from a multi-million-pound investment in a Mauritian company operating in Cote d’Ivoire. The matter culminated in the successful recovery of over USD$6m.
Advising an International Hotel Management Company in relation to breach of contract claims against an IT services provider.
Acting for a technology company in a contract dispute with a leading flexible workspace provider concerning issues arising from the pandemic.
Advising a shareholder in a dispute with a fintech company regarding the ownership of shares transferred in the absence of consideration.
Advising a company incorporated in China in relation to a defamation claim against a major national newspaper.
