Support the Exeter Rugby Cycle Challenge 2019!

On Sunday 10 November, 30 Exeter Chiefs rugby fans will set off from Sandy Park Conference Center to embark on the first leg of their European Cycle Challenge. The Challenge takes place each year and the route and destination is based on who the Exeter Chiefs draw as their opponent in the European Champions match. In previous years the team have successfully cycled to Bordeaux, Ulster, Montpellier and Castres, raising money for the Exeter Chiefs Charity, The Exeter Foundation, which aims to advance the city of Exeter and make it a better place for everyone who lives and works in the surrounding areas.

The route will cover approximately 440 miles over 5 days with the ride concluding in La Rochelle in the South of France who the Chiefs will face in their European Champions match on Saturday 16 November.

Join us on your bike on Sunday to cycle with the team as they set off on the first leg of their journey from Exeter to Plymouth – around 70 miles. Hot drinks and refreshments are kindly being provided by sponsors the Exploding Bakery, SW Comms, 5D Group and Exeter Rugby Club. David Walters of Bianchi Dama, a UK top 5, all female cycling team will provide bike support along the route. The ride is open to all riding abilities and there will be a collection for the Exeter Foundation on the day: all donations are welcome.

We look forward to seeing you there!
