Two Michelmores Partners, Simon Thomas and Jennifer Ridgway have been awarded a spot on the prestigious Spear’s 500 Top Lawyers Beyond London list for 2019. The comprehensive guide, known as the ‘Michelin guide to the wealth-management industry’, highlights the top private client advisers, wealth managers and high-net worth service providers in the UK.
Simon Thomas, Partner and Head of the Family team at Michelmores has been listed in the guide for the second year in a row. Simon specialises in the financial consequences of divorce and relationship breakdown, issues concerning family business, financial provision for children, trust funds, pre-nuptial agreements, cohabitation matters, property portfolios and pension provisions. The guide credits Simon as being “highly experienced, very measured, and very capable.”
Jennifer Ridgway, Partner in the Private Wealth team has also been recognised in the 2019 list. Jennifer advises high-net worth clients and their families on all aspects of wealth structuring, including advising on succession issues and the planning. Jennifer advises many international clients, as well as a number of UK families and landed estates. Jennifer offers a holistic service to the families that she looks after, liaising with other advisers and involves other disciplines such as agricultural work for landed estate clients and also corporate aspects for business owners.
