A team from Michelmores has taken part in a relay to celebrate the return of their 5k Charity Run, taking place on Thursday 8 September 2022.
The annual charity run took a short hiatus during the pandemic but returns for 2022, at a new venue. In its first 20 years, the Michelmores 5k Charity Run took place in the centre of Exeter, starting at the Cathedral Green and running around the city. This year, participants will be running through the glorious parkland of Powderham Castle in Kenton.

17 Michelmores employees took part in a relay from Exeter’s Cathedral Green to Powderham Castle on the morning of Tuesday 2 August carrying the trophy that will be awarded to the fastest Corporate Team. The 14km route was a great training opportunity for the runners who sported a variety of previous Michelmores 5k Charity Run T-shirts. Participants signing up to do the event in September have the option of buying a reduced cost ticket and reusing an ‘old’ Michelmores event T-shirt; one of the ways in which Michelmores is working to reduce the environmental impact of its event.
