Michelmores’ Bristol office celebrates three-fold growth

Two years on from the opening of its Bristol office, Michelmores has tripled the size of its team, based at Broad Quay House.

Starting with 11 staff on 12 November 2012, Michelmores’ Bristol team has since grown to 36 in number – to include seven partners, and a barrister.  The Bristol office launched with a core team specialising in Agriculture and Property and has now expanded to include Private Client.

Five partners in the Bristol office have recently been ranked as ‘Leading Individuals’, in the Chambers and Partners 2015 report for Bristol and the surrounding areas, released at the end of October 2014.

Commenting on the Firm’s strong growth over the last two years, Vivienne Williams, head of Michelmores’ Bristol office said:

“Since opening two years ago, we’ve seen steady growth in the Bristol office which we are looking to continue into 2015, by attracting the very best legal talent.”

With offices in Bristol, Exeter and London, Michelmores employs over 400 people. The firm has experienced strong growth over the last 12 months, rising 11 places to 89th position in ‘The Lawyer’s Top 200 – which ranks law firms by levels of turnover.

Michelmores has recently carried out a full refurbishment of its offices at Broad Quay House to accommodate its expansion, and is actively recruiting across the business.
