Annual employment law conference expects record attendance

Michelmores LLP has announced details of its much anticipated Employment Law Conference to be held at Sandy Park, Exeter on 7 November.

The annual event draws delegates from a wide range of employers, HR professionals and directors from across the region including the public, private, education and charitable sectors who all are keen to ensure they are up to date with the latest changes in employment law.

Topics under discussion include the rigours of recruitment, TUPE update, and the new law on pre-termination negotiations, as well as a whistle-stop tour of every significant change in employment law over the last year.

The Conference will be chaired by Michelmores Partner and Head of the Employment Team, Andrew Tobey, who said: “Employment law issues touch all levels and types of business, from workplace disputes through to corporate acquisitions, and few areas of the law are as fast changing and dynamic.

“Our aim at this Conference is to discuss the practical implications of numerous recent changes in employment law, and to ensure that every delegate goes away feeling they are completely up to date, both with the key developments over the past year and what we can expect in the year to come.

”We had well over 100 delegates at last year’s event and expect even greater interest this year so I’d advise early registration.”

Andrew Tobey will be joined by other specialist lawyers from the Michelmores Employment Law team, (who are described by the latest Legal 500 as “exceptional”,) including Partner Tim Davies, Associate James Baker, and Solicitors Bethan Jones and Tom Stenner-Evans.

The half day event takes place at Sandy Park Conference Centre on Thursday 7th November commencing at 9.00 am.  Tickets including a buffet lunch are £50 and places can be reserved by visiting www.michelmores.com/employmentconference
