Michelmores has reported a strong set of results for the financial year ending 30 April 2024, posting record turnover of £50.0m – up 16% on the previous financial year.
Michelmores employs over 500 people, with offices in Bristol, Cheltenham, Exeter and London. Following a 72% increase in headcount in Bristol since January 2022, the Firm moved to 10 Victoria Street in March 2024 where it has redeveloped 11,000sq ft of bespoke and flexible office space.
Michelmores also moved closer to gender parity in May 2024, when its proportion of female partners reached 49% for the first time.
Commenting on the results, Michelmores’ Managing Partner Tim Richards said:
“I am pleased to share our positive results for the 2023/24 financial year, which reflect our progress against our Destination 2030 strategy, launched in November 2022. Destination 2030 is all about helping our clients to navigate change, continuing to build a Firm with a distinct culture, and doing the highest quality work – all while making an impact for our clients and within our communities.
“This success is a direct result of the commitment of my talented colleagues across the Firm, and the positive culture that they contribute to. Earlier this year, the proportion of our female partners hit 49%, which is something we are so proud of and that we know is an important factor in supporting an inclusive culture.
“We remain laser focused on helping our clients to successfully manage the challenges and opportunities within our uncertain economic climate, which has resulted in sustained growth across our Business, Private Client and Real Estate Groups.
“Our record turnover and strong profit will enable us to continue to develop and invest in our Destination 2030 strategy, sharpen our client offering and continue to attract the very best people”.
