The Michelmores 5k Charity Run is returning on Thursday 11 September 2025, welcoming hundreds of runners, as well as volunteers and supporters, to its lively venue – Exeter’s buzzing Quayside. This year’s event will be hosted by former Exeter Chiefs rugby player, Chris Bentley.
The Run brings businesses together to help foster a positive future for our local communities by raising funds for Michelmores’ charity partner, FearFree, who is working to break the cycle of domestic abuse, sexual violence and stalking, across the South West.
The event has raised over £400,000 in its 23-year history. Join together with colleagues to represent your business – or run solo – to support this fantastic charity and be in with a chance of being crowned a running champion of the business community.
Many of our runners look forward to a competitive event and this year will be no exception, with the following prize categories:
- Biggest Team
- Fastest Corporate Team based on the top 4 fastest runners (mixed-gender)
- Fastest Running Club based on the top 2 fastest runners
- Fastest Male (aged 49 or under)
- Fastest Female (aged 49 or under)
- Fastest Female Veteran (aged 50+)
- Fastest Male Veteran (aged 50+)
- Fastest Young Runner (aged 14 – 17)
- Team who raises the most money on our dedicated JustGiving page
- Individual who raises the most money on our dedicated JustGiving page
Tim Richards, Michelmores’ Managing Partner, comments:
“We are delighted that our annual Charity Run is returning this year, after our fantastic sold-out event last year. Each year, we’re bringing together our people, clients, family and friends to raise awareness and much needed funds for our charity partner, FearFree. This event is a fantastic opportunity for business and individuals to get together and have fun while supporting our physical and mental wellbeing. We look forward to seeing you all there!”
