Michelmores recognised as a leading firm in Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2024 and receives new UK rankings for Family Offices & Funds Structuring

Michelmores is pleased to announce that the Firm has been recognised for its legal expertise and excellent client care in the Chambers High Net Worth Guide 2024, not least in the Family Offices & Funds Structuring rankings table which identifies the leading professional advisers to the Private Wealth market in UK-wide.

Michelmores’ Private Wealth Group was highly ranked this year with seven new and improved rankings across multiple practice areas and 11 of its lawyers recognised individually for their work advising high and ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals.

Most notably, Michelmores has received a new UK-wide team ranking for its Family Offices & Funds Structuring work, with Dhana Sabanathan, a Partner in the Tax, Trusts and Succession team in London, receiving individual recognition for her work in this area.

Michelmores’ Family Office team works with both well-established family offices and those looking to set up a family office in the UK and internationally. The Firm works together with its clients to understand their challenges and objectives and to support them in reaching their long-term goals on wealth preservation, creation and succession for future generations.

Michelmores’ Private Property & Landed Estates team were also celebrated with Band 1 rankings for the team and for lead partner, Chris Massey, for Real Estate: High Value Residential – National Leaders (outside London). The team form part of the growing Private Wealth offering based in Cheltenham also offering tax, trust and succession, family law and corporate advice to HNW individuals.

The Firm is pleased to announce that James Frampton, a Partner in the Firm’s Tax, Trusts & Succession team has jumped from Band 2 to Band 1 in the Private Wealth Law – Exeter & Surrounds category. Edward Porter, also a Partner in the Tax, Trusts & Succession team, has received a new Band 2 ranking for Private Wealth Law – Bristol & Surrounds and William Coon, an Associate in the Disputed Wills & Estates team has been ranked as an ‘Associate to watch’ in the Private Wealth Disputes – South West category.
