Michelmores LLP has today moved its London office to a cutting-edge development at 100 Liverpool Street. Boasting immediate access to Liverpool Street Station alongside shared lounges, cafes, rooftop restaurant, landscaped terraces, meeting rooms and event spaces, the new location enhances the firm’s national offering for its clients and its people.
The leading design of 100 Liverpool Street reflects Michelmores’ commitment to creating the best possible work/life balance for its people. The firm’s agile working pilot is well underway, allowing its people to guide the approach that works best for the firm and its clients. The new office space, which is equipped with the latest technology and communal hubs, complements this move to a fully agile working approach.
Holding multiple ESG credentials and designed with wellbeing in mind, 100 Liverpool Street sets the benchmark for London offices. The building has earned an ‘Outstanding’ Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) score – a significant achievement which places the development in the top 1% of sustainable office buildings in the UK.
Tim Richards, Managing Partner, commented:
“London remains a key strategic growth priority for our firm, and our investment in this new office space will create a world-class experience for both our clients and people. Collaboration is so important for our business, and the modern, technologically advanced space will be a boost for cross-team working.
“We want to give our people choice in where they work and not be prescriptive about the percentage of time to spent in any working environment. The space we have created in our new London office has been designed specifically with our agile working pilot in mind and offers a more creative and innovative work environment that reflects the culture of our firm.
“Michelmores opened its first London office in 2006 and continues to be a challenger firm in the London market. We have made a very conscious decision to move to premises with outstanding environmental and wellbeing credentials, in line with the firm’s business priorities.”
The 100 Liverpool Street project is a 520,000 square foot redevelopment designed by Hopkins Architects, which includes new retail, food and culture spaces, and offers the largest pedestrianised neighbourhood in Central London. It forms part of a major development for Broadgate, led jointly by British Land and GIC.
