Named Property Personality of the Year at the Insider Midlands Residential Property Awards 2024, she is a national advocate for the property industry, with a particular focus on housing and the planning system. She regularly appears on television and radio (with the occasional visit to 10 Downing Street!) to highlight the challenges facing the industry.
  • James Bradshaw (MRICS), Managing Director of the Eastern Division of Richborough. James has over 20 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry. He previously worked at Westbury Homes and Taylor Wimpey and has extensive experience of complex multi landowner projects, delivering 1,000+ homes, employment space and associated infrastructure. Under his leadership, the Richborough Eastern Division has achieved remarkable success.
  • Helen Hutton, Partner in Planning and Environmental Law, Michelmores. Helen is an experienced planning and environmental solicitor, who, alongside her work in strategic land development, energy schemes and planning, is heavily involved in Natural Capital planning matters.
  • Julie Sharpe, Partner in Real Estate, Michelmores. Julie has a particular focus on residential development and strategic land. She has expertise in advising on Natural Capital arrangements as part of the development scheme and in generating value from land holdings.

Our four leading planning and development speakers will cover:

  • Labour’s recent changes to the NPPF and PPG, with insights into their impact on the market.
  • The challenges preventing housebuilders from delivering Labour’s housing and development agenda.
  • The Planning and Infrastructure Bill and other proposed planning reforms, and
  • The latest updates on Natural Capital.

These topics will be explored from the perspectives of developers, promoters, and landowners.

The seminar will conclude with a panel discussion featuring all four keynote speakers, offering delegates the opportunity to raise questions.
