Michelmores advised Canada-based WeCommerce (a subsidiary of TSX-Venture Exchange listed Tiny Ltd which invests primarily in North America and Europe) on its USD11.5 million acquisition of Clean Canvas Limited, one of the world’s leading designers and developers of premium Shopify themes.
The acquisition of Clean Canvas further bolsters WeCommerce’s extensive portfolio of companies in the Shopify sphere.
Michelmores supported the Vancouver office of Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP who introduced the transaction. The Michelmores corporate team was led by London partner Ian Binnie assisted by London-based corporate associate Hollie Halston and trainee solicitor Joe Wickham.
