Michelmores has advised the shareholders of Atlas Packaging on the sale to Smurfit Kappa UK Limited (SKUK), an integrated manufacturer of paper-based packaging products. SKUK is a subsidiary of FTSE 100 company Smurfit Kappa.
Based in Barnstaple, North Devon, Atlas Packaging is an independent corrugated packaging provider with a strong market presence in the UK. It particularly specialises in shelf ready packaging, gift boxing and the e-commerce sector.
The Michelmores team was led by Harry Trick (Corporate), with support from Stephen Morse (Corporate), Barnaby Baker (Corporate), Anthony Reeves (Tax), Matt Warren (Employment), Jonny Lane (Real Estate) and Jo Woodcock (Construction).
