The Michelmores London Capital Markets team has advised Strand Hanson (as financial adviser and nominated adviser), Tamesis Partners and Beaufort Securities (as joint brokers) in relation to the admission to AIM of Cradle Arc plc and associated placing. Cradle Arc is focused on the exploration and development of precious and base metals projects in Africa and holds a 60 per cent interest in a producing copper mine in Botswana, as well as a wholly owned development project, with near-term gold production potential, in Zambia.
The Michelmores team was led by Corporate Partner, Ian Binnie, with assistance from Corporate Associate Edwin Richards and Solicitor Rav Sagar.
Commenting on this most recent AIM transaction, Ian Binnie said:
“The last 12 months have witnessed the emergence of the Michelmores London capital markets team as a key legal adviser in the London junior capital markets. We have acted for many of the most active advisers and brokers as well as winning a number of appointments for AIM-quoted clients. We are now acknowledged as regularly advising on both equity and debt capital market transactions on the London Main Market, as well as on AIM and NEX Growth Market.”
“It is fantastic to be able to start the New Year with another successful AIM IPO and we continue to build the capital markets team on the back of an extremely healthy pipeline of transactions in a number of sectors including fintech, mining and oil & gas, reflecting the international focus of the London office and the firm as a whole.”
Ian Binnie is ranked in Chambers 2018 as a noted practitioner for Capital Markets.
