Michelmores’ Private Wealth team hosted its first ‘Michelmores Collections’ event on Thursday 14 April at Haynes Motor Museum. The event was sponsored by Cazenove Capital and attracted car lovers from across the region.
Over 100 people attended the event, experiencing exclusive private access to the leading collection of over 400 of the world’s most beautiful cars. James Knight the Group Director of Bonhams’ Motoring department also provided an insight on the marques that matter and what has fuelled the amazing recent rise in the collectable car market.

The Michelmores Collections event series focuses on “alternative” or “passion” assets, such as cars, art, wine and jewellery, in an iconic venue with an industry expert providing insight into the market. According to the Knight Frank Luxury Index, alternative assets have proved an excellent investment over the last ten years with classic cars as a whole leading the charge with over a 400% increase in value.
Richard Cobb, Partner in the Private Wealth sector said:
“The classic cars event had a fantastic turnout and provided a great opportunity for people to meet like-minded individuals from within the Private Wealth sector. Acting for Haynes, we were delighted to offer private access to the museum and it was great to see some of our guests arrive in their own cherished cars for the occasion!”
“We are currently planning the next event in the ‘Michelmores Collections’ series and welcome new faces with a passion for all things collectable.”
