Congratulations to our client, Downing Crowd, for winning Best Investment Platform at the Growth Investor Awards 2017.
Downing Crowd is an investment platform that connects private investors with UK businesses that make a difference, including renewable energy, care homes, health clubs, and children’s nurseries.
So far, Downing has raised over £40m and has paid back over £16m of capital to investors and £1m interest.
Michelmores’ Business team advised Downing LLP on the launch of the crowdfunding platform in March 2016. The relationship with Downing LLP has included advising on numerous investments in energy projects, most recently on the sale of Vulcan Renewables.
