We will also discuss the challenges they face and what’s being done to overcome them. In short, the event promises to unlock valuable insight into the workings of some of the region’s leading names in manufacturing.”
Michelmores partner Annelie Carver said: “The South West is home to some of the most diverse and most successful manufacturing companies in the UK. Today is was reported that a rise in manufacturing has led to a boost in production output in the final quarter of 2013, helping towards the 0.7 per cent rise in GDP.In addition, trade body ADS has reported that 2013 was a record year for the UK aerospace industry and that there is a backlog of orders for aircraft and engines. We are keen to support businesses which operate in the manufacturing sector as we believe that the manufacturing sector will provide long term, skilled jobs and will contribute towards growth and well as investment in the UK.”
