The Labour Government published its Employment Rights Bill ( ERB) on 10 October 2024, which it labelled as the “biggest upgrade to workers’ rights in a generation”. The majority of the 28 employee-friendly reforms are subject to further consultation and will not likely become law until 2025 or 2026 (though some changes to trade union laws and SSP will probably come into force before then). This hub of content delves into the reforms in more detail, tracks the ERB as it progresses, and looks at how the changes may impact businesses and how organisations can begin to prepare.
